🐱 The short version (TL;DR)
- The Super Cat app collects no personal data from kids.
- If you submit a level idea, we collect your child's first name (or nickname), and the parent's name and email.
- We never share or sell anyone's information.
- Parents can request deletion any time at privacy@nexasol.com.
1. Who we are
Super Cat is a game made by nexasol ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@nexasol.com.
2. What the app collects
The Super Cat Android app does not collect personal information. It saves your level progress locally on your device. We do not have analytics, tracking, ads, or third-party SDKs that share data.
3. What this website collects
Standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and basic analytics. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
4. The "Submit a Level Idea" form
This is the only place we collect personal information, and it's designed to be safe for kids. Here is exactly what we collect and why:
- Child's first name or nickname: to credit them on the level if we use their idea.
- Child's age (optional): to help us tailor the level appropriately.
- The level idea (text): the actual submission.
- Parent / guardian name and email: to verify consent and contact you if we use the idea.
4.1 Parental consent
Submissions about a child require explicit parent or guardian consent. Before submission can complete:
- The parent confirms they are the parent or legal guardian.
- The parent consents to displaying the child's first name in the app if the idea is used.
- The parent receives a confirmation email and must click the verification link before we accept the submission.
This is consistent with the spirit of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the U.K. GDPR-Kids guidance, and similar laws around the world.
4.2 What we display publicly
If your child's idea is used in a level, we display only their first name or nickname inside the app (e.g. "Imagined by Nashwa"). We never display last names, ages, locations, photos, or any other identifying detail.
5. How we store data
Submitted ideas and parent contact info are stored on secured servers. We retain the data only as long as needed to consider and credit the idea — typically no more than 24 months. Parents may request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Who we share data with
No one. We do not sell or share any personal information. The only exception is if we're legally required to disclose it (court order, etc.), which would be very unusual.
7. Your rights
You (or the parent who submitted on behalf of a child) can:
- Request a copy of the data we hold
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
Email privacy@nexasol.com from the parent email used at submission. We respond within 7 days.
8. Children's safety
Our app has no chat, no social features, no user-generated content visible to other players, no ads, and no in-app purchases. If you believe we've inadvertently collected information from a child without proper consent, please contact us immediately and we'll delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify parents who have submitted ideas. The current version always lives at this URL.
